Beta http://xjsfl.com/forum/categories/beta/feed.rss Thu, 14 Dec 17 20:32:42 +0000 Beta en-CA Please post your Komodo Edit issues / feedback here http://xjsfl.com/forum/discussion/10/please-post-your-komodo-edit-issues-feedback-here Mon, 11 Jul 2011 05:09:21 +0100 Dave 10@/forum/discussions Right now, the xJSFL / Komodo setup is not firing on all cylinders. This is for a few reasons:

  1. The JSFL language definitions are not yet complete
  2. Komodo does take a little bit of setting up

It would be REALLY helpful if you're having issues with Komodo, or you just think that something should be better, if you could post here. This will allow me to compile a master list of issues I need to look at for the final release. It doesn't matter if it's small, just let me know.

Thanks!

Dave

Beta 2 branch http://xjsfl.com/forum/discussion/28/beta-2-branch Tue, 27 Mar 2012 11:00:45 +0100 Dave 28@/forum/discussions The Master branch is now stable, and can be considered to be the current Beta 1.

Any further improvements, I have now committed to a proper Beta 2 branch (I stopped being lazy) so if you want the bleeing edge version, check there.

https://github.com/davestewart/xJSFL/tree/Beta2b

The bad news is that the docs are probably going to be another couple of weeks, maybe more.

The good news though, is as of now, everything pretty much works. There are small things that need fixing up, but no show-stoppers like broken Snippets panel or loading errors.

Enjoy :)

Support via Skype for a limited time http://xjsfl.com/forum/discussion/15/support-via-skype-for-a-limited-time Wed, 27 Jul 2011 12:39:47 +0100 Dave 15@/forum/discussions Figuring out some of the stranger issues with xJSFL, especially some of the installation woes, was always going to be hard work. Coupled with the fact everyone is probably in different timezones, I figure that in some cases, Skype is going to be the most straightforward avenue of support, as we can IM, chat, share files and screenshare.

Obviously, I don't plan to make myself 24/7 forever (!),  but whilst I attempt to iron out any teething problems, if you have an issue and think it would be easiest to resolve it on Skype, these are my Skype contact details:

Cheers for now,
